Monarch Butterly Celebration and Sustainability Fair
Join us on Sunday, October 4, for a Monarch Butterfly Celebration and Sustainability Fair in the Jenkintown Town Square from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. We'll have a presentation on the Monarch Butterfly at 12:30, followed by a butterfly tag & release (conditions permitting) as part of the Monarch Watch Tagging Program. The Monarch Watch Tagging Program is a large-scale community science project initiated in 1992 to help understand the dynamics of the monarch's spectacular fall migration through mark and recapture.
