  • Saturday Stewardship with Gay for Good

    Monastery Stables 1000 Kitchens Ln #3738, Philadelphia, United States

    Meeting at Monastery Stables (1000 Kitchens Ln #3738) Parking: If you’re driving, there will be limited parking onsite at the Stables, as well as free street parking near the W Hortter St & Park Line Dr trailhead. If taking transit, buses 53, 65, and 71 all run near our meeting location, as well as the Chestnut Hill West train line.  See map for details.   • Saturday Devil’s Pool Clean-Up

    Meeting at Valley Green Inn (Forbidden Drive and Valley Green Road) Parking and Transit: There are three lots near the Inn. The northern parking lot on Forbidden Drive can be accessed by Wises Mill Road, and the southern by Valley Green Road. Overflow parking is in the Upper Valley Green Road Lot. The only nearby transit is the 27 bus stop at Henry Ave and Wigard Ave, a 15-minute hike from the Inn. See map for details.   • Volunteer-Led Service Day: NE Corner

    Meeting Location TBD Did you know Wissahickon Valley Park has over 50 miles of trails? Keeping them safe and enjoyable takes ongoing work, and our trained Crew Leaders play a key role in this, guiding small teams of Zone Stewards to care for different sections of the park. This Saturday, we’re bringing extra volunteer support to the park’s Northeast corner (Chestnut Hill area) for a variety of stewardship tasks. This service day is one in a series of Zone Steward-led service events happening throughout the summer. All are welcome to attend, and no experience is needed. We encourage attendees to
