    Rittenhouse Sound, Philadelphia’s premier lower-voice a cappella chorus, invites you to “Looking For America: A Soundscape of Democracy” on Saturday, June 13th at 4:00 PM, Philadelphia Ethical Society, 1906 Rittenhouse Square. “Looking For America” is about rediscovering patriotism through a soundscape of song and the spoken word of great American thinkers, poets, and dreamers. The concert will use iconic music and beloved narratives to take the community on a journey through the triumphs, struggles, and promise of America in this semiquincentennial year.     Celebrate the longest day of the year and welcome summer at Riverbend! Did you know that on summer solstice the sun makes its longest journey across the sky making it the longest day of the year? This day has been celebrated by many cultures throughout history and marks the beginning of summer! Join us on Riverbend’s preserve for summer fun! We’ll have a wine garden for the adults, activities for the kids, pretzels and water ice, a bonfire and s’mores, and live music.     Stop at Cliveden between 12 pm and 4 pm on Sunday, June 28th to hear New Jersey based historical musicians, The Ministers of Apollo, perform music of the Revolutionary era featuring the harpsichord in Cliveden's parlor.
