    Welsh Road Library will host Minas for a small music program. Minas introduces students to the country of Brazil through its music, Samba and Bossa Nova. After performing examples of Brazilian music and presenting historic, geographical and educational references, they introduce Brazil’s famous festival Carnaval, demonstrating authentic Brazilian percussion instruments - surdo, tamborim, repinique, agogô, reco-reco, ganzá, pandeiro, and cuíca.
