Richard’s Rambles: Hike to Pink Hill Serpentine Barrens

FOR ADULTS (18+) AND TEENS AGES 15-17 Pink Hill showcases the only surviving serpentine barren of the 10 that once existed in Delaware County. Join us as we explore this unique landscape and look for endangered and threatened species that call this harsh environment home. In early May we hope to see the pink serpentine phlox, for which this barren was named, along with other unusual species endemic to serpentine barrens.
