Join Tookany/Tacony-Frankford Watershed Partnership to protect clean water and care for nature at one of our favorite community green spaces in northeast Philadelphia. Join neighbors and fellow volunteers in removing invasive plants, stewarding natural habitats, and cleaning up debris. Good fun (and mud) is guaranteed! Volunteering is a great way to learn more about the natural world, give your time to a great cause, and connect with the community. Thank you for giving back. No experience is necessary. Instructions, tools, and supplies will be provided, including gloves, snacks, and water. Please bring a refillable water bottle with you. Location: 4641

We're inviting you to join our efforts to monitor the quality of water in the Cobbs Creek.   Hello Friends,   We cordially invite you to join us in our mission to monitor water quality in Cobbs Creek. On the 1st Saturday of every month we collect water samples from the Cobbs Creek, conduct a series of water quality tests, and record the data. We then share the data with the Philadelphia Water Department and the Parks and Rec. We're looking forward to meeting you.

Join your neighbors and TCP Keepers to clean Tacony Creek Park and its gateways. All tools and supplies will be provided, including work gloves, snacks, and water. Restrooms are not available. Please bring a reusable water bottle if you have one. We provide a free reusable water bottle to volunteers. We follow Philadelphia guidelines & will provide masks. 25 person limit for this event. Now + Then Marketplace Lucky Ducky Market

Now + Then Marketplace returns to The Block at Sono St. Patty's Day weekend with over 80 local vendors inside and out. The vacant storefront next to Target & Yards on 5th Street will once again be activated by N+T Marketplace a year later, inantely proving their initiative to occupy empty storefronts in the 'Meantime'. The market will feature vendors ranging from Bean2bean coffee and candles from Queer Candle Co to vintage clothes and original artwork.The market is free to attend, dog, and kid friendly.
