    Join us for free kayaking and rowing on the Tidal Schuylkill River! No pre-registration or experience is necessary. Suitable for all ages and skill levels. Equipment, life jackets, and basic instruction for kayaking and row boating provided–first-come, first-served. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. May be canceled in the event of inclement weather or unsafe river conditions. This program will be offered weekly, with the exception of some closures, from 10am—2pm from May through September. Inspired by ground-breaking research on the connection and communication of trees and rooted in Indigenous Knowledge, Root Song explores the mysteries of our interconnected natural world.     Let’s see what’s blooming in the Garden!   ABOUT LITTLE EXPLORERS: Every first and third Wednesday of the month, March through November, 10-11:30am. Join us for exploration, a garden walk, and stories! Please feel free to bring a snack. Designed for toddlers and preschoolers, ages 2-4. One adult chaperone is required for every two children.     POP Learning Orchard at The Woodlands 4100 Woodland Ave., Philadelphia, PA

    This workshop takes place at POP Learning Orchard at the Woodlands (4000 Woodland Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19104).  This workshop will focus on ecological approaches to managing fruit tree pests and diseases.  Learn how to maximize the health and resilience of your fruit trees and get hands-on training on how to identify and treat common challenges.
