    Join us for free kayaking and rowing on the Tidal Schuylkill River! No pre-registration or experience is necessary. Suitable for all ages and skill levels. Equipment, life jackets, and basic instruction for kayaking and row boating provided–first-come, first-served. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. May be canceled in the event of inclement weather or unsafe river conditions. This program will be offered weekly, with the exception of some closures, from 10am—2pm from May through September.   • WeWalk PHL Thursday Walking Group

    Come out for a walk in the park! Join neighbors for a free, easy 1-hour walk on the Bartram’s Mile Trail with a group. Come every week or just when you can! This program welcomes people of all ages and abilities looking to meet their neighbors and improve their physical and mental health. All walks will be led by a trained WeWalk group leader and will meet at the Welcome Center. Thursday walks in the Garden will be held weekly at 5pm between May 7 and June 25.     Spring Cleaning is a pop-up art market where 18 fine visual artists from the Philly metro region are cleaning out their studios of original work to make space for their next big idea! You'll find paintings, drawings, prints, sculpture, ceramics, photography, collage, art jewelry, and more! Every dollar goes back into the artists' pockets so you know you are supporting local while finding something human-made that you'll love. The event is free to attend and open to the public.
