Save the Date! Meet Philadelphia artist, Deborah Zuchman at @bennascafe Sunday, July 21, 2024 from 2-4pm. Deborah was an Art Demonstration Teacher and taught in the Philadelphia Public Schools for thirty-five years. She also worked as a Project Manager for the Philadelphia Mural Arts Program for several years. Zuchman paints en plein air and from her imagination. Slow Roll Memorial Bike Ride for Barbara

The Bicycle Coalition and Families for Safe Streets will work in collaboration with Barbara's friends and family to host a silent, slow roll bike ride from Civic Center Blvd and Spruce St. to the site of Barbara Friedes crash, 18th and Spruce. We will place an Angel bike at the crash site and hold a memorial for her. Please join to honor Barbara's memory.

The exhibit, organized by genealogists Katy Bodenhorn Barnes and Valerie-Anne Lutz, reveals the stories of families who received assistance from local charities and social services in the 1800s.
