Pack a picnic basket and settle among the gardens at Andalusia’s Open Saturdays, where families and nature lovers can enjoy the grounds during the weekends. The Olney Culture Lab presents the Revival Walks in Tacony Creek Park, hosted by Storyteller Mama Carla and featuring special guest artists. Originally created by dance artist / activist Lela Aisha Jones during the height of the pandemic, the Revival Walks brought healing, solace and joy to participants, as facilitators lifted up Afro-centric practices in order to rebalance our relationship to the natural world. Join us once a month on a Saturday through October (except August) for a journey through Tacony Creek Park in the Olney neighborhood of Philadelphia where we will honor the sun, wind, trees, birds and nature.
