Beethoven’s Fifth with The Philadelphia Orchestra

Pack a picnic and join us for a night of Beethoven's music under the stars as The Philadelphia Orchestra, led by Lina Gonzalez-Granados, returns to TD Pavilion at the Mann on June 17. The evening will begin with Beethoven’s Coriolan Overture, which is inspired by the story of Roman general Coriolanus and was written for Austrian dramatist Heinrich Joseph von Collin’s tragedy, Coriolan. This will be followed by Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 4, with pianist Jonathan Biss playing alongside the Fabulous Philadelphians. BlackStar Film Festival 2025

Support cinema for liberation! Join us at BlackStar Film Festival, an annual celebration of the visual and storytelling traditions of the global majority, showcasing genre-defying films by Black, Brown, and Indigenous people from around the world. The 2025 BlackStar Film Festival will take place July 31 – Aug 3 along Broad St in Philadelphia (Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, Wilma Theatre, and the Suzanne Roberts Theatre) as well as online around the world.
