On the way we will see other iconic landmarks such as Kelpius Cave, 100 Steps, and Lovers Leap. Along the paved bike path, we will observe large gneiss exposures and various tree species. Some sections of our route will be along a narrow footpath with very uneven steep footing so be sure of your comfort level on this type of trail. Please leave pets

We will be meeting on the eve of the equinox, exactly 12 hours before the official arrival. We’ll hike the Houston Meadow trail, observing the changes happening in the park as we transition from winter to spring. We will also have interesting facts and lore around the Spring Equinox. Please be mindful of your surroundings when crossing Bell’s Mill bridge from the lower lot. There will be porta potties available nearby. This event was originally scheduled to be our Annual Creek Clean-up, but due to weather concerns, we’ve moved our Lincoln Drive clean-up to this date instead. If you were already registered for the creek clean-up, your registration rolls over.  Meeting at Historic RittenhouseTown Parking in the paved lot along Lincoln Drive is not recommended, as it is the site of frequent car break-ins.
