National Public Lands Day Service

Meeting at Harvey Street Trailhead Come out to celebrate National Public Lands Day with us! Each year, hundreds of thousands of volunteers come together across the United States on the fourth Saturday in September to assist with various projects designed to restore and enhance public parks, forests, waterways and more. This Saturday, we’ll be celebrating with a variety of trail work, invasive plant removal, and litter removal at Harvey Street. No experience is needed. We provide gloves, tools and instruction – you just need to show up! Be sure to wear sturdy footwear and long pants, and bring a water

Creek Care Day: Montgomery County

Abington Friends School 575 Washington Lane, Jenkintown, PA

Join your neighbors and Streamkeepers for our monthly Creek Care Day in Montgomery County at Abington Friends School. Please meet at the back of the lower school by the playground. We will be working on removing invasive plants as well as adding tree tubes to some of the smaller trees now that all of the buffer fencing has been removed. All tools and supplies will be provided, including work gloves (though you’re welcome to bring your own). Please note, restrooms are not available. No plastic water bottles – please bring a reusable water bottle if you have one. Remember to
