Harrowgate Civic Association takes care of the neighborhood surrounding Harrowgate Park. Monthly neighbors’ meetings include updates from the neighborhood, Friends of Harrowgate Park, and the 24th District Police. Learn more on Facebook.
Somerset Neighbors for Better Living is the civic organization for the neighborhood that between Aramingo, Lehigh and Kensington Avenues, and Clearfield Street. Except for holidays, they meet the first Monday of the month at Firm Hope Baptist Church. (When the first Monday is a holiday, they meet the second Monday.) Learn more on Facebook.
South Port Richmond Civic Association serves the area bounded by the Delaware River, the Lehigh Viaduct, Frankford Avenue, and Allegheny Avenue. Meetings usually last one hour. The public is encouraged to attend.
Port Richmond Neighborhood Action is a group of neighbors and business owners who work together for changes and improvements such as neighborhood safety, beautification and social activities. East Kensington Neighbors Association meets on the third Monday of every month to relay community news, crime reports, grant proposals and other updates. June and July meetings are held at Circle of Hope, 2007 Frankford Avenue.
