Creative Movement Workshop with Silvana Cardell

In this workshop geared toward family members of all ages, dancer and choreographer Silvana Cardell will lead participants in creative movement exercises. Participants will learn about Cardell’s current project, TERRA: Bodies and Territories, which explores the shared vulnerabilities between women’s bodies and the environment through the medium of dance. The workshop will guide participants in movements drawn from TERRA, exploring how their bodies relate to natural elements, mimicking growth, flow, resistance, and connection to the earth. The session will culminate in a choreographed dance piece. Registration is limited for this free workshop. Participants of all ages and backgrounds are welcome.
