2024 Cliveden Tour Season

Cliveden's tour season begins on May 2nd at 12pm! During this one hour experience, visitors will be guided through the site and exhibit, The Turmoil of Transition: The mid-nineteenth century at Cliveden. Tours are available May to November, Thursdays through Sundays, 12pm to 4pm, beginning on the hour; the last tour of the day is at 3pm. They include the first and second floors of the Main House, the grounds, and the 1767 Kitchen Dependency, as well as navigating stairs and uneven landscapes. Review the ethics of wild-collected seed and learn the basics of seed biology, germination, and storage. Many people notice the more apparent life stages of insects (particularly pests) in warmer months, but often don’t consider the habitats that insects and other critters need to thrive in managed landscapes.
