Reptile Rendezvous

Visit with some snakes and turtles to learn about their habitats, how they survive, and how we can help them. Dawn White with Indian Run Environmental Education Center (IREEC) will talk with us about the needs of the reptiles that make their homes at Natural Lands’ preserves. Then take a short walk on the preserve in search of reptiles and the different places they live.  IREEC promotes knowledge and stewardship of Pennsylvania wildlife and its ecosystems through traveling educational programs that include live animals, all of which are native to the United States.  This event is made possible by the

Let’s take a healthy stroll in the park together! Join your neighbors every Saturday morning for a healthy and empowering stroll on the Tacony Creek Park trail. On Saturdays, we meet from 9:30am–10:30am near Tacony Creek Park. All are welcome to join us for this free walking group. The trail is a paved, fairly flat Circuit Trail; all ages and abilities are encouraged to join us. Please bring a face mask and keep six feet away from other attendees.
