Tyler’s 80th Anniversary Morning Tour: A Walk Through History

Join an exclusive tour with one of Tyler’s History Docents in celebration of Tyler Arboretum’s 80th anniversary! Gain a new appreciation for Tyler through the ages on this leisurely half-mile walk along the Wister Trail from the Fragrant Garden to Lucille’s Garden. Hear fascinating tidbits about key moments and activities that shaped today’s arboretum and discuss the challenges that lie ahead.
Celebrate Tyler’s 80th birthday with us! After the tour, stop by the Edible Garden Patio for a piece of birthday cake. Cake available while supply lasts.
PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED
This tour includes changes in grade and walking surfaces, including pavement, grass and gravel. Closed-toed shoes are recommended.
A registered adult must accompany all youth.
Check-in first at the Visitor Center, where you’ll meet your guide.
MEMBERS (sign in for your discount!):  FREE
NON-MEMBERS:  Included with admission payment. Adults: $18 each; Seniors (65+): $15 each; Teens (ages 12-17): $10 each. Feel free to stay for the day!
GUEST PASS HOLDERS (for non-members only):  FREE with guest passes or if you are accompanying a Family+ member.
