Sustainable Photography Workshop: Chemigrams and Cyanotypes
April 20, 2024 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
The workshop will provide guidance on how to make cyanotypes and chemigrams.
Under the guidance of Lauren Fiasconaro, using alternative materials to traditional darkroom chemistry represent a way to continue the photographic tradition without the toxicity and problematic waste that comes with it. By improvising with materials that can be easily obtained and disposed of, the artist/creator is able to achieve self sufficiency and minimize environmental impact.
If possible, bring a small, flat object with an interesting shape to use during the workshop!
When registering, if it’s within your means, please consider a donation when registering through Eventbrite to help us cover the expenses of this workshop. The cost to run this workshop works out to be $20 per person.
