FOR ADULTS AND TEENS AGES 12-17
Join PA Master Naturalist Dave Charlton as we search for spring ephemerals—wildflowers that bloom briefly in early spring before disappearing as the forest canopy fills in. We’ll be on the lookout for trout lilies, spring beauties, and bloodroot, among others, as they take advantage of the fleeting sunlight. Learn about their unique life cycles, ecological roles, and the pollinators that depend on them. Don’t miss this chance to experience nature’s brief but spectacular spring display!
About your guide: Dave is a long-time Tyler volunteer, founding member of our docent program and certified Pennsylvania Master Naturalist.
