Polyester Education Topic:

Polyester is one of the most commonly used fibers in fashion, but how well do we actually understand it? In this session our panel of experts will discuss current uses and developments for polyester, but will also explore the pros and cons of the fiber, and polyester’s impact on people and our environment.

• $10 Donation provides each sorting station with staple removers or scissors for deconstructing fabric headers, and also helps cover the routine scissor sharpening maintenance.
• $30 Donation covers one box of black or clear trash bags used to sort and store scraps.
• $50 Donation will pay for one gaylord and/or pallet. We use about 10 per month to store and transport our scraps for recycling.
