Robert A. Borski, Jr. Park Dedication Ceremony

Riverfront North Partnership and the City of Philadelphia invite you to join us for a celebration of community and public space at the Robert A. Borski, Jr. Park dedication ceremony.

Built on a former concrete factory, the new 10-acre park features a multi-purpose lawn, elevated meadow paths, and spectacular views of the Delaware River. It is an important trailhead park of the 11-mile Riverfront North Greenway, which is part of the regional Circuit Trails and national East Coast Greenway networks.

We are looking forward to speeches at the event from City and State elected officials and dignitaries, supporters, and community members. Speakers will include Congressman Robert A. Borski, Jr.; Congressman Brendan F. Boyle; Mayor Cherelle Parker; PennDOT Secretary Mike Carroll; Senator Christine Tartaglione; Representative Joseph Hohenstein; DCNR Deputy Secretary Claire Jantz; William Penn Foundation Executive Director Shawn McCaney; Councilmember Mike Driscoll; Philadelphia Parks & Recreation Commissioner Susan Slawson; Philadelphia Department of Commerce Deputy Commissioner Yvonne Boye; and Bridesburg CDC and founding Board member, Joe Slabinski.

The event will be held at the park site. It is rain or shine.
