FOR ADULTS (18+) AND TEENS AGES 15-17
Some of Pennsylvania’s most beautiful wildflowers are spring ephemerals. They are among the first to emerge in spring, the first to flower, and are visible for only a brief time. Join us on the trail as we look for these elusive woodland flowers.
There’s more to discover in Tyler’s 650 acres. Join Dr. Richard Brenner for a walk through the various eco-communities at Tyler. From seasonal wonders, living fossils, meadows, watery locations, geological treasures, conservation areas, and unexpected wildlife, Richard will expertly guide you to prime areas for an experience you will remember. Expertise from others will often be on hand for a more in-depth exploration. These rambles are for those who have a love for nature, exploring, and learning. While a description of each Ramble is posted in advance, we reserve the right to make last-minute changes, including adjustments for weather and trail conditions. Bring your reusable water bottle and dress for the weather, including sturdy shoes.
Upon arrival, please check in first at the Visitor Center, where you’ll then meet your guide.
