Remnants of Andorra

This walk and talk discusses the legacy of Andorra Nursey and the influence of William Harper and Eleanor Houston Smith on Wissahickon Park.
Wissahickon Environmental Center’s grounds were formerly Andorra Nursery. This walk and talk discusses the legacy of Andorra Nursey and how Willam Harper and Elanor Houston Smith influenced Wissahickon Park and Northwest Philadelphia. We will visit structures, trees, and shrubs that persist from Andorra’s operations. Expect to walk 2-3 miles in hilly terrain.
