Nature Journaling Single Class: Class 2

April 10 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

FOR ADULTS AGES 18+
Take a deep dive into the natural world. Use nature journaling to observe and record the flora and fauna around you. Engage your inner scientist, writer, and artist as you capture meaningful details. Learn simple tools and techniques for observing, recording, and sketching in a supportive setting at Tyler Arboretum, exploring a new area in each of the four classes. These classes are well-suited for both new and returning participants, offering fresh perspectives, prompts, and discoveries in every session.
Registration:
Advance registration is required.
Classes are subject to cancellation up to 48 hours in advance if minimum enrollment is not met.
Class 2 will lead participants through a series of intentional questioning exercises to focus our creative, curious minds on figuring out a mystery that we find in a small corner of Tyler.
About the instructor: Meg Lemieur is a nature-focused illustrator based out of Philadelphia, whose mission is to celebrate the diversity, interconnectedness, and amazing feats of the natural world. Her illustrations have been published as tabletop games, in comic anthologies, books, as murals, and large-scale educational tapestries. She lends her skills to a variety of advocacy campaigns and was an Artist in Residence with the Pennsylvania Environmental Council for 2025.
