Nature at Night: Baby Birds & Nests Single Class

FOR ADULTS & CHILDREN AGES 5+
What happens when a baby bird falls from its nest? How can you tell if it needs help, or if it’s just learning to fly? Join educators from Tri-State Bird Rescue for a fascinating look into the lives of baby birds and the delicate nests they call home.
Through real artifacts and engaging visuals, you’ll explore how different species build nests, what baby birds need to grow and survive, and what to do (and not do!) if you find a young bird in the wild. You’ll also learn how Tri-State cares for injured and orphaned birds —and how you can make a difference for wildlife in your backyard.
Perfect for curious nature lovers of all ages—no live animals, but plenty of hands-on learning!

About the presenter: The mission of Tri-State Bird Rescue & Research is to provide professional, compassionate rehabilitation to native injured and orphaned wild birds and contaminated wildlife, and to promote their stewardship through education and humane research.
