Moonlight Hike

SUITABLE FOR ADULTS AND TEENS AGES 15-17
Experience the beauty of Tyler by moonlight!
On this guided hike, we’ll explore Tyler’s trails under the light of the nearly full moon, using our senses to take in the sights, sounds, and mysteries of the night. Along the way, our guides will share points of special interest and seasonal highlights. We hope to see and hear some of the nocturnal wildlife that make a home in Tyler’s natural areas!
This moderately paced hike is suitable for adults and teens who are comfortable walking three or more miles on rocky, uneven terrain that may include some distances up and down steep trails. A registered adult must accompany all youth. Bring a handheld flashlight (please note, cell phones are not an acceptable source of light) and wear sturdy hiking boots. Feel free to bring binoculars to observe the moon.
This program starts after Tyler’s closing hours. The gates will open 15 minutes before the program begins and close promptly 10 minutes after the start time, so please be on time. Once you arrive and park, please check in with the staff associate at the Visitor Center Patio, where the group will gather.

MEMBERS: 15% OFF! Adults: $10.20 each; Teens ages 15-17: $5.95 each (sign in for your discount!)
NON-MEMBERS: Adults: $12 each; Teens ages 15-17: $7 each
GUEST PASS HOLDERS (for non-member use only): Adult guests: $10.20 each; Teen guests: $5.95 each. Please give the Visitor Center Associate your guest passes at check-in. Each participant must submit a pass.
