Mausoleum Hill Community Cleanup

The Friends of Mount Moriah Cemetery invites neighbors and history lovers to join a cleanup day at Mausoleum Hill on the Yeadon side of the cemetery.

Volunteers will work to restore Mausoleum Hill, home to some of the cemetery’s most notable structures and the final resting places of people whose lives are woven into the fabric of Philadelphia history.

Please bring personal hand tools, gloves, and safety gear. We have a limited supply to lend, so the more you can bring, the better. Gas-powered weed whackers are especially helpful. Pack a lunch, water, sunscreen, and bug spray. This is a come-and-go event. Show up when you can, stay as long as you’re able. Anyone is free to help out. Families, scouts, and service organizations are encouraged to join.

Mount Moriah has always been a place for the whole community, and the work of restoring this place starts with neighbors like you. We hope to see you there!
