Participants will be guided through various techniques and unique materials to make their own LED light up 3-d jellyfish. The resulting applique is powered by a tiny battery pack and is perfect for tote bags, jacket backs, or wall hanging.
Visiting Artist Jamie Campbell returns to Studio 16 at Cherry Street Pier. In July she exhibited. a giant remote controlled jellyfish made from recycled materials In the July exhibition Phantastic Phibers. She also created large scale goldfish puppets a the iconic paper mache and craft fur tuxedo cat that greeted visitors at the exhibition entrance and a collaborative display of Delaware River Monsters and other 2D and 3D work with resident artist Bonnie MacAllister in the gallery space. She designed original river monsters patterns for make and take workshops taught on the pier and Spruce Street Harbor.
