Make a Band Tee Tote Bag! with South Philly Yarn + Craft LLC
April 10 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Upcycle your old band tees with South Philly Yarn + Craft LLC and transform them into something you can use every day!
We’ve all got those band tees laying around that we can’t wear anymore, but nostalgia won’t let us part with them either! So, let’s go through our closets and put them to some good use!
During this workshop we’ll provide all of the tools to make a tote bag from your old band tees. All you have to bring is your tee***! (Safe space – no judgement here…my first concert was Backstreet Boys…) You will be using fabric scissors, Iron, and Sewing machine for this class. Experience with a sewing machine is suggested.
*** T-shirt Graphic should be no larger than 16”x16”
When registering, if it’s within your means, please consider a donation when registering through Eventbrite to help us cover the expenses of this workshop. The cost to run this workshop works out to be $15 per person.
This workshop will have enough materials available for 7 people. If you register to attend, please be mindful we are purchasing supplies for you. If you can no longer come, even if it’s the day of, please let us know so we can open your seat for someone else to be able to use the purchased materials.
