Fun by the River – Exploring Hibernation – Kid’s Activity at Glen Foerd

An Environmental Education activity for kids exploring hibernation at Glen Foerd on the Delaware.
Join Riverfront North Partnership and Glen Foerd as we host a fun activity around “Hibernation”. Winter is coming and our animal friends are starting to prepare. Some are getting ready for a long nap, some are moving to warmer weather and some are adapting to the area they live. Come join us and learn how different animals survive the winter.
This event is a popup experience. You can expect to spend around 20 minutes participating in the activity before having the opportunity to explore the Glen Foerd Historic House and grounds. We will also have an animal pinecone craft activity for those interested.
