Full Moon Hike

SUITABLE FOR ADULTS AND TEENS AGES 15-17
Experience the magic of Tyler at night!
There’s something unforgettable about stepping into the forest after dark. Shadows shift, sounds sharpen, and the familiar trails take on a sense of mystery and beauty. Guided by the light of the full moon, we’ll explore Tyler’s woodlands, tuning into the sights, sounds, and scents of the night. Along the way, your guide will share points of special interest and seasonal highlights. We hope to see and hear some of the nocturnal wildlife that make a home in Tyler’s natural areas!
This moderately paced hike is suitable for adults and teens who are comfortable walking three miles or more on rocky, uneven terrain that may include some distances up and down steep trails. A registered adult must accompany teens. Bring a hand-held flashlight (please note that cell phones are not an acceptable source of light) and wear sturdy hiking boots. Feel free to bring binoculars to observe the moon.
This program starts after Tyler’s closing hours. The gates will open 15 minutes before the program begins and close promptly 10 minutes after the start time, so please be on time. Once you arrive and park, please check in with the staff associate at the Visitor Center Patio, where the group will gather.

MEMBERS: 15% OFF! Adults: $10.20 each; Teens ages 15-17: $5.95 each (sign in for your discount!)
NON-MEMBERS: Adults: $12 each; Teens ages 15-17: $7 each
GUEST PASS HOLDERS (for non-member use only): Adult guests: $10.20 each; Teen guests: $5.95 each. Please give the Visitor Center Associate your guest passes at check-in. Each participant must submit a pass.
