Phase One Tour, hosted by Friends of the Rail Park, welcomes you to explore the past, present and future of the Rail Park, a vision for a bold, transformative, and inclusive public park that will utilize historic rail lines to connect 10+ Philadelphia neighborhoods to the city and each other. Starting at Broad and Noble, this walking tour will cover notable historical remnants of the rail lines, architectural gems, vital community assets in and around Phase One, as well as explore plans for the next phase of development of the Rail Park.
The tour will begin at Story Wall, located at the Noble Street Entrance of Phase One of the Rail Park, located at 1300 Noble Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123. Visit https://www.therailpark.org/visit/ for directions.
Tour FAQs
Please plan to wear comfortable walking shoes and weather appropriate clothing. This tour is fully outdoors and Phase One is 1/4 miles long.
Children and strollers are permitted.
There are no public bathrooms at the Rail Park. Please plan accordingly.
Paid and free street parking options are available on surrounding blocks. Patriot Parking (1201 Callowhill Street) is the closest parking lot option.
