FOR ALL AGES
Life at the pond is always changing! As the seasons shift, so do the creatures that call this watery world home. From the deck of Tyler’s pond, you might spot frogs, turtles, or even tadpoles drifting among tiny floating duckweed. Water striders glide across the surface, while dragonflies and damselflies zip through the air.
Join PA Master Naturalist Sue Fredrick for a closer look at this dynamic ecosystem. Using your very own magnifying glass, you’ll examine water samples up close and uncover the hidden world of tiny aquatic creatures. This leisurely-paced tour offers a fascinating glimpse into the plants and animals that thrive in and around the pond.
About your guide: Sue Fredrick is a long-time Tyler volunteer and naturalist. She is an experienced Tyler docent and a certified PA Master Naturalist.
