Trail Hike and Scavenge Hunt!
Join PA Master Naturalist Terry Mallon for a scavenger hunt on Tyler’s trails! We’ll search for hidden wonders—like tiny mushrooms, unusual leaves, and signs of wildlife. Along the way, we’ll uncover fun facts about the natural world and sharpen our observation skills. This walk is perfect for young explorers who love to observe nature. Bring the whole family for an outdoor adventure!
About your guide: Terry Mallon is an outdoor enthusiast and certified PA Master Naturalist. She is the Tours and Programs Coordinator at Tyler Arboretum.
PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED
This program is best suited for elementary school-aged children with an accompanying adult, although families and siblings of any age are welcome. Check in at the Visitor Center, where you’ll meet your guide. Sturdy shoes are suggested for any walk on Tyler’s trails. Inclement weather will not cancel this tour; instead, we will move to an indoor location and topic.
MEMBERS:  FREE
NON-MEMBERS: $18 per adult; $10 per child ages 3-17; children two and under are free and do not need to be registered. Admission is included in your price, so feel free to stay the day!
GUEST PASS HOLDERS (for non-members only): FREE. When checking in, please submit your guest pass to the Visitor Center Associate or let them know you are accompanying a Family-level or above member.
