Fall Leaf Monoprint Gelli Plate Print Workshop with Deirdre Murphy

Join us for a hands-on “Make and Take” workshop led by artist Deirdre Murphy, in conjunction with her exhibition Gradients of Growth at Chimaera Gallery. In this engaging session, participants will explore the art of botanical monoprinting, drawing inspiration from Murphy’s Contemporary Herbarium series. 

Deirdre will guide you through a step-by-step demonstration of various printing techniques, including gelli plate printing, to create unique, nature-inspired prints. You’ll learn how to layer textures, shapes, and colors to capture the delicate beauty of plants and leaves. By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with your own botanical monoprints to take home. This is a fantastic opportunity for both beginners and seasoned artists to experiment with a fun and accessible printmaking process while deepening their connection to nature and art.
