There is a mental health crisis on college campuses, which has only become more urgent in light of the lingering and long-term effects of the recent pandemic. As a resource to help ease these concerns, DMAX Foundation launched its interactive series, DMAX Students Speak! At these events, college students share their personal mental health journeys–feelings of stress or anxiety, disappointment or sadness, and isolation or loneliness–and how they have emerged on the other side of their struggles.
When students speak freely about their personal stories, storytellers benefit by sharing how they are really doing with others, while listeners realize they are not alone in their struggles. The program is open to students and the general public. Registration is free of charge.
