FOR ALL AGES
Dismal Run has been designated the cleanest stream in Delco, and it flows right through Tyler Arboretum! Join Tyler’s Executive Director, Mike Skuja, as we explore a tributary of Dismal Run along the Blue Trail. Mike will discuss the significance of riparian buffers and stormwater management solutions. We will also observe the impact of the emerald ash borer and learn about forest management practices implemented in response to the ash tree crisis, as well as upcoming restoration initiatives.
During this tour, we’ll walk approximately one mile along the Blue Trail, making frequent stops. Sturdy shoes with ankle support and good tread are recommended.
PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED
