$30.00

Join us on the evening of Saturday, November 22nd at 6:30pm in the 1956 Workshop for a live performance of Colin Pezzano’s new project Umbra (2025). Umbra is the title of Pezzano’s second graphic novel in woodcuts, a mundane horror that follows a dog walk through South Philadelphia in 2020. The accompanying score composed by Colin Pezzano and Sam Gasparre will be performed by guitarists, a drummer, bassist, and saxophonist alongside images from the graphic novel. Pezzano will also be performing the score for his first graphic novel, Soma (2022).

A limited edition poster by Colin, available exclusively at WEM, will be included with the price of each ticket. Guests are also welcome to enjoy the Main Gallery of Esherick’s 1926 Studio which will be open from 6:30-7:00pm for the half-hour before the performance. The roughly 30 minute performance will begin at 7:00pm in the 1956 Workshop followed by a conversation with the artist.
