Clinic Cleaners are volunteers who help us maintain a neat and tidy space for our patients at the Wildlife Clinic.
Wildlife rehabilitation can be messy work, and volunteers foster a healthy environment by assisting with laundry, sweeping floors, and cleaning the lobby. This allows our expert staff to focus more time on caring for the thousands of animals that the Wildlife Clinic cares for every year.
Cleaning materials and personal protective equipment, such as gloves and masks, are provided. Volunteers should wear clothing they don’t mind getting dirty (yes, that includes animal waste) and sturdy closed-toe shoes. Clinic Cleaners will not be working directly with animals or have access to patient areas. Clinic Cleaners must be at least 18 years old to sign up. Due to limited space, we are unable to accept walk-ins.
