Apply for the Citizens Planning Institute!
Learn how to create the change you want to see in your community! The Citizens Planning Institute (CPI) introduces Philadelphians about city planning, zoning and the development process. Citizens Planning Institute is a program of the Philadelphia City Planning Commission.
Classes for the Fall 2026 course are 6-9pm on September 24, October 7, 15, 22, 29, and November 12. An optional welcome social will be hosted on October 1, 4:30-6:30 pm. Most classes will be in Center City, and the orientation will be held through Zoom. Course fees are on a sliding scale, ranging from ≤$50 to $300.
Applications will be accepted through 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, August 30.
