FOR ADULTS AND TEENS AGES 12-17
Discover the beauty of Tyler’s northern collections on this guided walk. Stroll through magnolia, lilac, and crabapple plantings before heading into the Native Woodland Walk to discuss the effects of climate change on local ecology. Visit Lucille’s Garden to see what’s growing this season and learn about water management. The tour concludes at the Pollinator Preserve, where you’ll explore the essential role of pollinators and pick up tips for creating a pollinator-friendly garden at home.
About your guide: Since retiring from Penn Dental Medicine, Dr. Woody Kotch has reignited his passion for the natural world. Through training at Tyler, the PA Master Naturalist program, the Xerces Society Ambassador Training, and his research, he developed new tours for Tyler that blend environmental science and history. Woody is dedicated to sharing his excitement for nature and raising awareness about our changing environment.

Check-in at the Visitor Center, where you’ll meet your guide. Sturdy shoes and a refillable water bottle are recommended.
A registered adult must accompany all teens.

NON-MEMBERS: $18 per adult; $10 per teen ages 12-17; children two and under are free and do not need to be registered. Admission is included in your price, so feel free to stay the day!
GUEST PASS HOLDERS (for non-members only): FREE. When checking in, please submit your guest pass to the Visitor Center Associate or let them know you are accompanying a Family-level or above member as their guest.
