City seeks input from trail users to inform maintenance plans

Start

Have you ever hit a tree root on a multi-use path and barely managed to stay on your bike? Have you ever wanted to tell someone about it? The City of Philadelphia is working on a plan to improve trail and sidepath maintenance and wants to hear from you.

Philadelphia boasts a growing network of trails and sidepaths, including the East Coast Greenway and the Circuit Trails, but keeping them all in good shape is a challenge. The work is mostly done by local organizations, for example Riverfront North Partnership along the northern Delaware River waterfront, and the City faces challenges in supporting and coordinating the network of partners.

Take the survey to offer your thoughts, and visit the City’s trail and sidepath maintenance plan page to learn more about the planning process.
