Parks & Recreation: Summer in Philly’s Parks

Start

The wonderful “Where the Wild Things Are” screens July 13 in Penn Treaty ParkOK, you probably won’t see me at the outdoor screening of Twilight—I prefer my vampires quippy (Buffy) or campy (True Blood), plus I’m allergic to the sound of screaming teenagers—but there are plenty of other excellent summer events coming to a park near you, sponsored by PHS’s Philadelphia Green program, the City’s Department of Parks and Recreation and PNC Bank.

A complete list of over 150 free events is available on PHS’s website, or after the jump.
