Dispose of your electronic waste sustainably during Earth Week with PAR!Help us celebrate Earth Week by participating in an electronics recycling drive. This event is a collaboration between Haverford's Committee for Environmental Responsibility (CER), the Arboretum, and PAR-Recycleworks. Large appliances, light bulbs, and batteries will not be accepted. All data on devices is wiped and destroyed.This event will take place in the South Lot. Celebrate Arbor Day with the Arboretum!The Arboretum has a longstanding tradition of planting trees on Arbor Day. First observed at Haverford on April 4, 1902, representatives of the Pennsylvania Forestry Association came out to the campus to celebrate the holiday. It became such a popular celebration that in the early 1900s a song was arranged by J. H. Redfield, Class of 1899, and published by Hums and Noble.
