City Nature Challenge Evening Walk

April 24 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Help us document the biodiversity at Crossways Preserve using iNaturalist. City Nature Challenge is a global celebration of biodiversity in and around urban areas. Over 3.3 million observations and over 73,000 species were identified by 102,945 participants in 2025.

We will work to document as many trees, plants, animals and insects we can find at Crossways.

Participants should bring an electronic device with iNaturalist downloaded and a free account already set-up or a camera. Dress for the weather and be prepared for muddy and wet trails

Access Information
Participants will need to walk approximately 1 mile along an uneven natural trail. Participants will need to take photographs from a variety of levels, and should be prepared to go slightly off trail as well. Restrooms are not available.
