Pennypack on the Delaware – Park & Creek Cleanup

Join us for a morning of community action followed by an afternoon of celebration!

We’re coming together to make our park and creek cleaner and more welcoming for everyone. Whether you’re a longtime neighbor, a first-time volunteer, or bringing the whole family, this event is for anyone who wants to make a positive impact on our shared green spaces.

Event Schedule

10:00 – 11:30 AM: Park & Creek Cleanup
Roll up your sleeves for litter removal, light invasive plant removal, and even a few fun “trash games” along the way!

12:00 – 1:30 PM: Community Celebration
Head over to Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust for food, prizes, and a well-earned celebration with fellow volunteers.

Part of a Creek-Wide Effort

This event is one part of a larger Pennypack Creek cleanup happening throughout the watershed in partnership with:

  • Pennypack Ecological Restoration Trust
  • Riverfront North Partnership
  • Pennypack Environmental Center
  • Upper Moreland Township
  • Lower Moreland Township
  • Lorimer Park

Meeting Location

Meet at the picnic pavilion near the soccer fields at Pennypack on the Delaware Park.

What to Bring

  • Close-toed shoes (required)
  • Weather-appropriate clothing
  • Water bottle

All tools and supplies will be provided.
