Afromation Avenue: Artist Panel and 2026 Design Reveal
Afromation Avenue is a collection of curated positive affirmation street signs, personalized by predominantly Black and African American communities throughout the city of Philadelphia.
This special event brings the project to life through conversation and storytelling. Join creators Brittni Jennings and Kristin Kelly, alongside participating artists, as they take the stage to discuss the inspiration behind Afromation Avenue, the importance of affirmations in public space, and the range of artworks created through the project. Together, they’ll reflect on community voice, representation, and the power of seeing ourselves affirmed in the places we move through every day.
