Expanding Sanctuary: Film Screening and Panel Discussion

Join us Saturday, September 6th at 4:00 PM for a film screening of Expanding Sanctuary with filmmaker Kristal Sotomayer in attendance! Kristal will be in conversation with E Morales-Williams, author of Turn Up For Freedom and longtime friend of Making Worlds.
Expanding Sanctuary follows an immigrant mother who becomes a powerful community leader in the fight to end police data-sharing with ICE. The film captures her transformation from personal desire to bring her mother to the U.S. into a passionate, collective movement for immigrant rights and family protection.
