Dedication ceremony for Coleman’s bas-relief at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia

June 13, 2024 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

The William T. Coleman, Jr. Foundation will honor the legacy of William T. Coleman, Jr., with a private dedication ceremony. This event celebrates the permanent display of Coleman’s bas-relief at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. Crafted by renowned international artist Zenos Frudakis, the sculpture stands as the first memorial in Philadelphia to commemorate the distinguished African American Civil Rights Attorney and Cabinet Officer. The initial founders of the Foundation are the Coleman family, Dilworth Paxson LLP law firm, Independence Blue Cross, PECO Energy Company, and the Raynier Foundation.

Please RSVP by Wednesday, June 12 to ensure we can prepare for any specific coverage needs you may have.
